Delete your account
ScholarsNode Ink (inv.futuresolutions.scholarsnode) · ScholarsNode Edu Tech Limited, Lagos, Nigeria
You can ask us to delete your ScholarsNode account whether or not the app is still on your device. Here is how, and exactly what happens.
1. How to request deletion
From anywhere: email support@scholarsnode.ng from the Google email address on your account and say you want your account deleted. We confirm it is you, then act on the request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account, when that option is available in your version; it makes the same request.
2. Guest work
If you only ever used the app as a guest there is no account to delete: your sheets are on your device alone. Clearing the app's data, clearing your browser's site data for ink.scholarsnode.ng, or uninstalling removes them completely.
3. What gets deleted
Your sign-in and session tokens, your profile (name, picture, phone, date of birth, gender, nationality, state of origin, bio, address, academic profile, emergency contact), your preferences, your enrollment records, results and institution choices, your class subscriptions and ring records, your push tokens, your notifications, your reviews and review votes, any room you were hosting and its files, and any drawings synced to your account. The account stops existing; you can no longer sign in, and a new sign-in with the same Google account starts a fresh account.
4. What we keep, and why
CBT sittings you completed remain with the examiner who administered the paper, because the record of a sitting belongs to the exam as well as to you; your name and account identifier are removed from them, leaving the answers, scores and log under an anonymous reference. Server logs that mention your account identifier expire on their own within 90 days. Anything the law obliges us to keep is kept for the period it requires, locked down and no longer an active account. Nothing else survives.
5. Before you go
Export anything you want to keep first: any sheet can be exported as an image or an .ink file from the drawing's menu. Deletion cannot be undone.
